Five must reads for kids who are asking: "Where do babies come from?"

Last year, my husband and I decided to add another member to our family. Our first two children were 10 and 4. Naturally, they had some questions about where this baby was going to come from. Although my 10-year-old had already been through this, his questions were different this time around. With everything we had going on in terms of our homeschooling, the baby and our regular busy life, I realized I needed to start streamlining some things. I decided to stop by the parenting section of the library where I found Robie Harris's It's Not the Stork! series. I quickly grabbed them all (and a few more) and went home hoping they would help. THEY DID! So today I thought I would share some books with you all that have helped answer all my kids questions about where babies come from --and more!

1. It's Not the Stork!: A Book About Girls, Boys, Babies, Bodies, Families and Friends (The Family Library)

Robie H. Harris

2. It's So Amazing!: A Book about Eggs, Sperm, Birth, Babies, and Families (The Family Library)

Robie H. Harris

3. It's Perfectly Normal: Changing Bodies, Growing Up, Sex, and Sexual Health (The Family Library)

Robie H. Harris

4. What Makes a Baby: A Book for Every Kind of Family and Every Kind of Kid

Cory Silverberg

5. The Amazing True Story of How Babies Are Made
