HSC Volunteer Speaker Spotlight
Rebecca Lawler, HSC Volunteer Coordinator and Conference speaker/volunteer, is a very enthusiastic and energetic mom and a homeschooling advocate. She is excited to give back to the homeschooling community in areas where she has experience as a coach and mentor. She has three unschooled children ages 14, 17, and 19. Now that her kids are more independent, she has earned her Health and Wellness Coaching Certificate and is launching a coaching business to help others with feeling more control in their lives. We couldn’t do what we do without the support of volunteers like Rebecca, and we want to thank her for all she does!

Quarantine Schooling Resources: During the Coronavirus crisis, an amazing number of individuals, institutions, and companies have offered classes, resources, and products for free to families who are educating their children during quarantine. Social Media/SEO Volunteers Needed: Calling all social media and SEO gurus! Do you love homeschooling? Do you love social media or know all about Search Engine Optimization? Do you love the Homeschool Association of California? HSC has an immediate need for two volunteers to join our Social Media and Website Committees. You will either curate and pre-schedule informative and uplifting posts to the HSC FB groups or help us with website SEO. Campout: The Calaveras Big Trees State Park campout scheduled for May 15-21 has been postponed until we have more information about the current Covid-19 situation.
